Well, once again it is time for the spring thaw. This one was crazier than years past.
1. We had 18″ of snow.
2. The temperature went from 30 degrees on Friday to 65 degrees today.
3. It rained all day yesterday and most of the morning today.
4. It is supposed to rain again tonight.
All that being said, the camp is very flooded right now and we even had to sandbag around the front of the house and one of the other buildings. My sheds are filled with water, and I can only imagine the state of my SeaDoo, which I was not able to get out in time. Thankfully it does float. We had at least 20 people here today filling sandbags and helping put them around. Pray that the water will go down and that even with the rain, they will not rise high enough damage the Camp. I love our Voice family! Praise God for people to help. I will pray that all continues to go well. Miss you all! Darc-
WOW! What an adventure! Nothing like a little flooding to bring everyone together.
🙂
I love the pictures of Max and Robert. The first picture of Bob doesn’t look as funny. He looks tired and frustrated. We will keep praying for safety for everyone and everything. P.S. Send some of that rain our way (southward). We need it!
As you can see there is never a boring moment at the camp Love ya guys!!!
That picture of Cameron near the end is price.less. Oh my word, what a hoot. Must be so fun working with him. ^.^
