Clean Car

Posted on Monday 24 July 2006 by Joshua

When my car is clean, I love it. Having a black car is a challenge when you have a mile long gravel driveway. It gets continually coated with a thin layer of dust, not to mention when it rains you must forge ahead through the gi-normous puddles. Needless to say, it is difficult to keep her looking sharp. Yesterday I spent about 4 hours washing, waxing, vacuuming, windexing, and doing the wheels and tires and rest of the trim. Anyway, she looks nice at the moment, but sadly, I know it won’t last long. One might say it is like fighting a losing battle, but there is something about a shiny black car that looks so awesome. So for the moment, I am loving it.

You are a smart man to take a photo and enjoy it while it lasts. 🙂

yeah, kinda like when my house is clean, and all of the laundry is done, the yard is picked up, the grass is mowed, the veggies are all picked, and the kids are bathed…..wait a minute….has that ever happened before??? that’s really sad………….

I listened to Amy Grant in Junior High so I’m thinking that the album was from the late 70’s. It might have been Father’s Eyes. I’m not sure. I just know that I loved her. She sang songs that were on my heart, and I still remember most of the words today…..Now you got me thinkin…I’m going to try and find that album (on CD). I would love to have it, and then I’ll have you listen to that song. It’s a good one.
