After the car show, I took some shots from our hotel room of the lights of the city. The next morning, it was cool to see the contrast as I looked over the McCormick Center and the lake. Walking around the windy city in 20 degree weather was quite a reminder of why they call it that. Gosh it was freezing! Thankfully, there were plenty of warm places to stop in. The Sears Tower was great, I even got to have my picture taken with President Obama! There was a huge sculpture of Grant Wood’s American Gothic (with luggage) that stands near the Tribune Building that was drawing quite a few photo opportunities. If it had not been so cold, I would have loved to explore some of the architecture alot more. Maybe I need to take a summer trip there again. I’d imagine that Millennium Park is pretty awesome in the summer. Check out the photos from the day.
Looks good man. The American Gothic must be new. I don’t remember that one when I last visited. Bravo!
Awsome pictures !!! Thanks
