blowing snowing

Posted on Wednesday 16 November 2005 by Joshua

Today I sat staring in wonder at the white substance accumulating on the top of my black windshield wipers. If I hadn’t known better, I would have thought that someone had been blowing styrefoam insulation about the parking lot this morning. But the cold and blowing wind quickly clued me in to the fact that winter is, in fact, here, and more likely than not, it is here to stay. Summer went by way too fast…You know.. my usual lament when I see the first snow… I didn’t spend enough time on the lake…blah blah. Anyway, at least I have some hot peppermint tea and I am sitting in a nice warm room. Plus, there’s always a Starbucks riiiight around the corner.

What is funny is that people complain when it snows and they talk about longing for summer. Then when it’s summer, they want it to be colder. Thats why fall is the best. I love living somewhere where there are seasons. I can’t stand when the weather is the same for to long. But then again, I’m an extreme weather kinda guy. I love the cold rain and snow 🙂

Yah, I heard it was snowing there, it was almost 79 degrees here today, it was weird after dinner it was wicked dark out and then BOOM started to rain, however it hasn’t snowed yet.

Peppermint Tea….MMMM! Yummo! I can’t wait to get some. Have a good nite! >>Darc-
