Yes kids… it is Black Friday – the busiest shopping day in America and I was actually bold enough to go out. But after surviving Chicago traffic on Wednesday and the hours of stop and go… I can handle South Bend with ease. Interestingly enough, while I was walking aimlessly around the mall (for no other reason than it was my day off and I wasn’t going to sit in front of a computer) I came across my most favorite store in the whole wide world.
Yes, my friends, Abercrombie & Fitch now features (for this season anyway) male models, clad only in jeans. I am not sure if this is to draw in the female shoppers or not, but it appeared to be working as the majority of the people I watched going into the store were young females. I wonder if in the future at Abercrombie, they will have young women dressed in similar apparel… or the lack thereof. I wonder when and if our society will tolerate it.
Why cant i be a A&F modle???? I think they need a normal down home southern girl.
dude…?? isnt that A&F store in Woodfield Mall…?
I saw the same guy just like him..over there last friday ..
umm, I knew there was a reason I hated that place.
All I have to say is….THAT’S SAD!!!!! (In more ways than one)
Abercrombie & Fitch is a blight on the landscape of American culture simply because it exploits the minds of younger boys and girls by raising up a false standard to which they must measure themselves to be popular. But so many students falls for this trap because they are part of the mindless masses. Abercrombie & Fitch is yet another sexist elitist capitalist venture led by a man whose idea of beauty is that it is external. As womyn we should unite to protest this place because we are more than mere objects of sexuality to be captured by the great moose hunter males. (The Call of the Moose is the current campaign at Abercrombie.)
