Did you ever have one of those really awkward and uncomfortable moments when you really don’t have any clue what to say so you sort of silently sit there for a while and then kind of wander off and pray it works itself out. That happened this weekend when there was a clash between two people and I happened to be in the midst of it all… it was super uncomfortable. I was thinking to myself…oh boy… I think I will just keep my mouth shut and hope they work it out. One thing I think I have learned in life is that when I have a problem with someone, I will definitely not take it up with them in a public place or in front of others if I can at all avoid it. It just creates way too many problems and messes up too many feelings – of those involved and those who are merely bystanders. Take it up in private. Sigh.
i understand your uncomfortableness (if thats a word). but imagine that when your jokeingly messing around with someone and they get super offended and they verbally attack you in front of your friends and peers. it is totally embaressing not to mention frustrating. because when it happens you feel awkward and you feel the awkwardness of everyone around. so all of this to say i’m sorry and i now know that i can’t joke with everyone. i obviously hit a nerve in which i had no idea there even was one. i know you’ve heard us argue before. but i agree you shouldn’t have to. trust me i would’ve rather have been talked to in private and i tried to rectify the situation as soon as i could. sorry again and please don’t hold it againt me or him.
