Yep… today is a great day. I sent an e-check today for $829.21 to Nelnet Student Loan Services to PAY OFF my student loans. I began paying them in late 1995 or so and owed somewhere around $19,000. But today, a little over 10 years later, I can finally raise my hands in jubilant victory…

This is the true celebration of today… Jesus’ triumph over death and darkness on the cross! What’s the deal with Halloween anyway? It seems to me that people spend all this effort and money on this holiday which celebrates…what? From the giant blow up yard pumpkins with ghosts swaying above it, to the dead corpses…
