Well, it’s April Fool’s day, and sadly, I couldn’t think of anything clever to post today. However, the skies were amazing this afternoon. One thing I love about Indiana is the skies. Some places are so wide open and you can just see for miles. I know it’s not like Iowa or Kansas or even way out west, but I do have the privilege of seeing some beautiful skies. It began sunny this morning, but as the afternoon progressed, the clouds rolled in. I love when the sun bursts through sections of clouds and creates the “heaven effect” but today was not one of those days. It was incredibly windy, and if I had long hair, it would have been blowing and flowing. However, that not being the case whatsoever, it did not even get messed up as I stood against the wind. In any event, It was a great afternoon for for driving down some country roads and doing some shooting. Here are a few shots from the day.
The sky above our subdivision – the sun creating these little glowing light pockets.
Blue skies, bursts of sunlight and dark, rolling cloud banks.
I love it when the clouds actually look like a rolling wave.
Indiana’s open country roads.
Facing the wind… not a hair out of place. (I know I am opening myself up for smart remarks here.)
Yes, yes you are. 🙂 I think the sky is beautiful! 🙂 See you in 30 days!
Josh, I think you’ve started misplacing some hair about 5 years ago. Sorry, but you were expecting it and I had to pounce. I am open for funny weight remarks. All in good fun my friend 🙂
