Another eventful day… Dave and Liz Carey, Jenna, Krista and Scoby Griffey and myself took to the roads of South Bend to explore… somewhere. We ended up eating a fine lunch at Panera Bread. Then a short visit to see how chocolate was made. The South Bend Chocolate factory (free samples, so why not!). Although we all had to wear hairnets and that was a sight. Our tour guide kept making cheesy jokes the whole time, so it was good for a laugh. And did I already say free chocolate? Yep, so after that we wound up at Barnes and Noble where I discovered, much to my chagrin, that I am behind in my Foxtrot collection by THREE BOOKS! So I got the most recent one and now have two more to catch me up. Then we ended up going to the Griffey’s house and watching Oceans Eleven (well, half of it) but a wonderful dinner interrupted it. Then It was all these goofy crazy games until just now where we drove the half hour back here. Yeah, it was a good day. Weird doing that on a Wednesday though.
