Last week was insane – so much getting ready for the first service at the Horizon Center. From hanging signs, to mopping floors, building, cleaning, organizing and moving furniture, My time was quickly used up. I think I went to bed every night at 1. Somehow, I also found time to finish two design projects. However, the Sea Doo was out of commission, but Collin managed to get it fixed for me – new starter – so hopefully this week will be less crazy so I can get it back in the water. The service yesterday went really well, and it was awesome to be here. It was kind of unreal. I kept looking around and thinking, “Wow, this is our auditorium!” It’s almost so nice that I can’t even believe it is ours. But once they got all those wild scanning lights and flashing LEDs, I was amazed. Seriously, it is like a rock show. I love it. Here are some photos of what I have been up to.
View of the Auditorium on Sunday morning from the balcony.
Me putting up the temporary sign. Captain Reeder running the controls.
Having so much fun way up on the air on a hot and humid day.
Putting the Sea Doo in the water. We had to take it out the next week because the starter broke.
Playing croquet on the 4th of July. Never played before and I rocked the game.
Putting in Robert’s stereo. Another favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. Actually, once the harness was wired together, it went pretty quick thanks to Crutchfield’s detailed instructions.
Those pics were great! Thanks for the update, glad to see you are all doing well.
awesome to see you doing well! The church looks great!
I am looking forward to seeing you buddy.
Everything looks amazing! I think it’s funny that this was the year we both played croquet for the first time. We played at the Carey house in Xenia. Glad to see everyone’s doing good and I think it’ true to Voice form to use up the whole stage even on the first day! The Careys love the Voice fam!
